The Jacket

The front of your jacket is constructed with a hand sewn floating canvas. You can be sure it sits perfectly against your body and will never lose its shape, no matter how many times you dry clean it. After you have selected the fabric and style of your suit, our master tailors will set to work hand crafting the construction of your jacket.

The top stitching on the lapel and pockets is hand sewn by our master tailors and takes many hours to complete, making sure that you are given a look of distinction that will see you standing out in a crowd. Your jacket is lined with the highest quality lining available, and the appearance of your Germanicos custom made suit is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.

We use only the highest quality materials for your jacket. Even the cotton thread that is used to sew your suit is the finest in the world. That is the Germanicos way.

The buttons on your jacket sleeves are functional and if it is your wish, you can request a seamless back, adding to the uniqueness of your very own designer suit jacket. With the natural movement and activity of the day, Germanicos has not forgotten the importance of added sweat guards to protect you. Your jacket also comes with several pockets inside, allowing you to carry those extra things like pens, notepad and your mobile phone without taking away from the sleek look of your personally made jacket.

The Pants

To compliment your beautifully hand tailored jacket, your pants are equally as important. Belt loops are also hand sewn under the waistband, meaning that they will stand the test of time, in wear and durability, whilst you are always looking the elegant gentlemen.

Your pants are an outstanding combination of comfort, appearance and style. If you choose, you can have deep full pleats, and all pants are lined to the knee with our top quality lining for that added feeling of comfort and luxury. The cut and style of pant is as distinctive and different as the jacket you have selected to go with them.

How a Suit is Crafted at Germanicos

Step 1: Fabric Selection

On arriving at our studio, our expert tailor will sit with you to determine exactly what you are after. Taking you through over 2000 fabric choices from mills all over the world, we will begin to mould the greatest suit you will ever own.
Step 2: Measurement

Approximately 25 precise measurements will then be taken of your body. Whilst taking these measurements, our master tailor will ask you a series of questions to determine exactly how you would like your suit to fit. From this, we will then apply the correct formula to have your garments fitting like a glove.
Step 3: Fabric Elimination

By now we have a clearer understanding of what it is you are after. Taking this into account we will begin an elimination process from the initial round of fabrics, narrowing it down to the perfect fabric for you.
Step 4: Styling

With the experienced guidance of our master tailor, you will then embark on the journey of designing your suit. Be it classic, contemporary or designer, together we will design the suit from the lapel down to the colour of the stitching. We will guide you through the many design options available and put together a suit design reflective of you and your persona.
Step 5: Enjoy

Over 80 man hours will be invested into crafting your bespoke suit. Thanks to our unique measuring process, your first fitting is usually your last however at times some clients may require minor alterations. With a lead time of approximately 4 weeks, your suit will be available for you to enjoy in no time. And for those of you with a tighter schedule, we also have an express offering at a small additional cost.
